Maidstone Road crash: woman freed from car following two car smash

A woman has been cut free from a car after a two-car smash in Maidstone Road.
Emergency crews were called to the collision in Ashford, around 9.30am today.
Firefighters gave the woman first aid before cutting the roof from the car.
The woman was then treated by paramedics before being taken to the William Harvey Hospital by ambulance.
A SECAmb spokesman said she was placed on a long board and immobilised for potential injuries.
A police spokesman confirmed officers were called at 9.35am to the collision and the road was reopened at 11am.
Motorists experienced delays between the Drovers Roundabout and Orchard Heights but the area is clear now.
