Chatham man arrested after woman injured on A2070 in Ashford

A woman was hurt in an altercation with another driver following a crash on a roundabout.
The victim, in her 40s, got out of her car and approached the other vehicle after both collided on Park Farm roundabout on the A2070 in Ashford.
But the driver left the scene as she approached, causing her to fall onto the road and suffer injuries.
In the initial incident, both vehicles were travelling towards the M20 when they collided on the roundabout.
Police say a 41-year-old man from Chatham was arrested in connection with the incident and released under investigation.
Officers would like to hear from any witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage who may have recorded the incident, which happened at about 4pm on Wednesday, August 3.
