Woman pushed to ground as her Filloi handbag is stolen by mugger, Bockhanger Lane, Kennington, Ashford

An elderly woman was pushed to the ground as she struggled to keep her handbag from a mugger.
But the hooded and masked robber got hold of the bag and took off.
The victim, in her 70s. had been walking along Bockhanger Lane, Kennington, near the junction with Grosvenor Road.
The man grabbed the navy Filloi bag and afterwards fled in the direction of Vicarage Lane.
All this happened shortly before 10am yesterday (Thursday).
Kent Police now say witnesses are needed.
Police are looking for a suspect described as 5ft 6in tall, and who wore a black mask and a dark coat with a hood up.
