Ashford: Woman 'raped' in Mill Court near River Stour

A woman was allegedly raped in broad daylight by a man she had met earlier in the day.
Officers are investigating after the woman reported being attacked in Mill Court near to the River Stour in Ashford.
The suspect is described as white, early to mid-30s, with stubble and a tattoo of numbers on his neck.

He was wearing blue shorts at the time.
Police are also searching for a good Samaritan who is thought to have helped the victim shortly after the attack.
The incident happened on Tuesday, October 16 between 4.30pm and 5.15pm.
Detective constable Nick Ward said: "We have carried out several enquiries since this incident but would now like to hear from any witnesses including a good Samaritan who it is believed saw the victim in distress around that time and tried to help her."
