Woman sexually assaulted in broad daylight in Norman Road, Ashford

A woman has been sexually assaulted in broad daylight near Ashford Designer Outlet.
Police say the victim was walking along Norman Road when a man approached her from behind and put his arms around her.
The incident happened shortly after 3pm last Wednesday and an investigation into the incident has since been launched.
A police spokesman said: "The suspect is described as a black man in his 30s, about 5ft 10 tall, with short black hair and stubble.
"He was wearing a blue sweatshirt and trousers."
Officers have since been carrying out inquiries and have arrested a 39-year-old man on suspicion of sexual assault.
He has been bailed while inquiries continue.
