Woman taken to William Harvey Hospital after car hits lamppost in Ashford

A woman was taken to hospital after her car was written off in a collision with a lamppost.
Paramedics were called to Godinton Road, Ashford, following the crash.
The woman was treated at the scene before being taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford. Police also attended.
A spokesman for the force said: "We were called to a report a car had collided with a lamppost.
"Officers attended along with SECAmb and a woman was taken to a local hospital."
It is not believed the victim's injuries are life-threatening, although it was reported her car had been written off in the crash shortly before 4pm on Thursday.
