Ashford United boss Danny Lye eyes more challenges following FA Vase quarter-final defeat at Salisbury

Ashford United player-manager Danny Lye demanded no sad faces after seeing the club's FA Vase run halted by a 3-0 quarter-final defeat at Salisbury.
Conceding two goals either side of half-time were key moments in the game, Paul Booth and Jon Pilbeam having squandered two great chances to put them in front at the break.
Lye said: "Salisbury were a good side, and better than us on the day.
"Chances change games, and we had a couple. Boothy was disappointed in the dressing room afterwards, because he knows he wouid normally score it, if he does we are back level, but that's football.
"We didn't hammer anybody afterwards, this game was always a bonus for us.
"We missed those chances, and then we should have cleared our lines for the second which was a sucker punch and made it hard for us to get back in the game."
Lye added: "I said to the boys I didn't want any sad faces or disappointment because we have got a league game (at Croydon) on Wednesday which is more important than this one."
He also revealed that goalkeeper George Kamarusi was hampered by a rib injury picked up early in the game, but played on due to no replacement on the bench.
Meanwhile Lye has drafted in former Gillingham youngster Daran Hawkes as cover for Kamarusi, as Nick Luen is unavailable due to work commitments.
Club skipper Gary Clarke joined the squad in the warm-up for the second successive week, as he continues to step up his fitness following a long lay-off after recovering from a torn abductor muscle.
