The East Kent with West Street Hunt Point-to Point meeting at Aldington on Easter Monday has been cancelled.
The organisers took the decision to call off the planned seven race card, one of the traditional and popular highlights of the South East season, due to poor ground conditions.
Clerk of the Course Ian Gibson said: "Having walked the course on Good Friday morning following eight-10mm of overnight rain, we sadly have no option but to cancel."
He added: "We feel the next few days weather forecast will only make the situation worse.
"A huge amount of work has gone into staging the event, but the committee feel that it is the fair and sensible decision to make for owners, trainers and the general public."
