A man has been arrested after a pedestrian was knocked over in a reported hit and run.
The A206 Queens Road in Erith was closed at 11.30am today after the collision, which involved a van.
The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after an air ambulance helicopter was seen landing in the area.
The van reportedly did not stop and a man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent.
He remains in custody.
The closure led to heavy congestion in the area, from the A2016 Bronze Age Way (Erith roundabout) to James Watt Way, until around 4pm.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or via @MetCC and quote CAD2784/19Jan.
