Man arrested on suspicion of rape after a woman allegedly attacked in flat in Worsley Bridge Road, Beckenham

A suspect has been arrested after an alleged rape.
Police were called to Worsley Bridge Road in Beckenham at around 4.35am on August 20 after a woman reported that a man had entered her flat and raped her.
Following an appeal by detectives for information, a 28-year-old man was yesterday arrested by Met Police on suspicion of rape.
He was subsequently bailed pending further inquiries.
The alleged victim is continuing to receive specialist support.
