Biker in 30s dies after crashing into traffic island in North Cray Road, Sidcup

A biker in his 30s has died after crashing into a traffic island.
The man was found lying in North Cray Road, Sidcup, by police at around 6.30pm.
Officers immediately provided first aid and paramedics and the air ambulance attended but despite their efforts, the rider was pronounced dead at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.
The Met said it is not believed that any other vehicles were involved and that he may have collided with a traffic island.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit based at Catford are investigating this matter.
