Boy, 13, stabbed in Broadway, Bexleyheath as ‘juvenile’ arrested and questioned by Met Police

A boy has been taken to hospital after being stabbed in a busy high street.
The 13-year-old was injured during the incident in Broadway, Bexleyheath.
Police were called to reports of a stabbing in the area at 3.31pm today.
Although the boy’s condition is not life threatening, he has been taken to hospital, the Met Police confirmed.
Shortly after, a juvenile was arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm, the force said. He was taken into custody but was released pending further enquiries.
While a crime scene was in place during inquiries, it has now been removed.
The London Ambulance service has been contacted for a comment.
