Car engulfed by flames in Crayford High Street, near Dartford

Firefighters tackled a blaze which engulfed a car parked on a hill.
The incident happened in Crayford High Street near Dartford at around 1pm with black smoke seen filling the sky.
Police attended and the route was blocked off at the top of the hill near the One Bell pub while fire crews worked to bring the blaze under control.
A video posted to the Dartford Community Facebook page showed the vehicle well ablaze with thick black smoke billowing into the air.
Photos shared with KentOnline show the charred remains of the chassis in the aftermath of the fire.
According to traffic monitoring tool Inrix, the road was shut in both directions but has since fully reopened.
London Fire Brigade say it mobilised one fire engine from Plumstead to the scene at 1.18pm and efforts concluded at 1.55pm.
The police have been contacted for more information.
