There were delays to rail journeys after a trespasser ventured onto the tracks.
Southeastern services were brought to a stand for safety near St Mary Cray shortly before 6pm.
Some trains on the line, which serves Swanley and other rural Dartford stops, have been delayed as a result.
Trains are now back on the move and no longer disrupted.
Passengers can still claim delay repays if they suffered delays of more than 15 minutes.
Meanwhile, Southeastern and Network Rail say an investigation will continue into what happened.
