Elderly man and woman die in three-car crash which shuts A21 Sevenoaks Road

Two elderly people have died in a three-car crash on a major road.
Emergency services were called to thee A21 Sevenoaks Road shortly before 2pm today following the collision.
The road is closed in both directions between Old London Road and Hewitts Roundabout on the M25.
Police were called to the scene, near Knockholt Railway station, at 1.43pm today to a crash involving three cars.
A Met Police spokesperson said: "Despite the efforts of emergency services, the occupants of one of the vehicles, a man in his 80s, and a woman in her 70s, died at the scene.
"Enquiries are under way to notify next of kin.
"Another man was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital. We await an update on his condition.
"Road closures have been put in place."
There is queuing traffic due to the serious incident and it is impacting motorists between Hewitts Roundabout (the M25 Spur) and Pratts Bottom.
The road remains closed while crash investigation work is carried out.
