There was a huge emergency response underway at a railway station and train services were delayed after a person was found on the tracks and taken to hospital.
Trains were unable to run on the Sidcup Line, with police and fire crews dealing with the incident at Hither Green.
It affected all lines between Sidcup and Lewisham and disruption lasted until about 3pm.
The rail operator tweeted at 10.46am about the incident and said services could be cancelled, delayed or diverted.
Later it was revealed the found a casualty on the tracks and the person taken was taken to hospital.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
No trains were able to run on the Sidcup Line in either direction or call at Hither Green station.
Services on other Metro Routes were either delayed or revised as a knock-on effect of the incident.
Tickets could be used on London Buses between Lewisham-Dartford at no extra cost.
Southeastern later tweeted at 12.49pm: "UPDATE: Power has been restored to the #SidcupLine following the emergency services incident.
"Trains will resume running on the Sidcup Line and at Hither Green.
"Services have been delayed and may be revised or cancelled whilst we work to get them back on time."
It comes after trains were disrupted this morning by an emergency incident and a electricity supply failure.
Emergency services attended a separate incident on the Medway Valley Line, with trains between Strood, Maidstone West and Tonbridge affected.
Meanwhile, earlier this morning no high speed trains were able to run due to a failure of the electricity supply.
However, power has just been restored so services will once again be able to run to St Pancras "shortly".
But Southeastern has warned: "There will still be delays and disruption while we work to get trains on time again."
