Emergency services called to suspicious package in Bromley

The emergency services descended on a street after reports of a suspicious package.
Police, fire and ambulance crews were in London Road, Bromley, from around 12.30pm on Thursday.

Police said two people had reported feeling unwell in the area.
A building on the street was evacuated and a road closure was in place as authorities deal with the incident, which is not being treated as terror-related.
Police later confirmed the package contained a substance which was assessed as non-toxic and non-hazardous.
The premises has now re-opened and the crime scene is closed.
Enquiries continue.
