Firefighters called to bungalow roof alight in Blackfen Road, Sidcup

Emergency services are investigating the cause of a blaze that drew 25 firefighters to a chalet bungalow.
Four engines were called to reports of a fire on Blackfen Road in Sidcup at about 4.30pm today
A spokesperson for The London Fire Brigade said: “The roof of a two floor chalet bungalow was completely destroyed by fire.”
“There are no reports of any injuries.
“The brigade has took over 20 calls about this fire, with the first being received at 4.27pm
“The fire was under control by 5.18pm
“Crews from Eltham, Sidcup and Bexley fire stations attended the scene.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation.”
