David McCorkell, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty at the Old Bailey on Monday to the murder of Diane Dyer on July 18.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service just after 11pm on Thursday, July 18 to a home in Oakwood Avenue following concerns for a woman occupant.

The 54-year-old is due to be sentenced at the Old Bailey on December 18.
