Bexleyheath man charged with murder after man stabbed in Greenwich

A man has been charged with murder after a 74-year-old man was stabbed on Tuesday.
Ben Oliver, 23, of Lion Road, Bexleyheath, was charged yesterday with the murder of David Oliver.
He is due to appear at Bromley Magistrates’ Court today.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 11.52am on Tuesday, January 19, to reports of an injured man inside a residential address in West Park, Greenwich.
Officers and ambulance crews attended and found Mr Oliver suffering from a knife injury. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 12.25pm.
Police say his next of kin are aware.
