Man dies after being hit by car in Eastern Way, Bexley

A 33-year-old pedestrian has died after being hit by a car in Bexley.
The man, who has not been named, died at the scene in the early hours of this morning after reports of a collision in Eastern Way.
Police were called at 5.17am and found a silver coloured Vauxhall Corsa, which had been travelling towards Erith, had struck the man.
A spokesman for the Met said: "The driver of the car is assisting officers with their enquiries."
There have been no arrests.
Inquiries are underway to notify the dead man's next of kin.
The spokesman added: "Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are investigating. They are particularly keen to hear from any witnesses who saw the collision or captured it on CCTV or dashcam."
