Man fighting for life after crash in Bromley as Met Police renew appeal after hit-and-run involving VW Golf

A man injured in a crash remains in a critical condition almost three weeks after hit-and-run collision.
Detectives have renewed their appeal for witnesses and dashcam footage after the incident in Bromley.
It happened at about 3.30am on August 28 and ambulances found a 37-year-old man injured on the side of the road by Woodbank Road and Lincomb Road.
He was taken to hospital where he remains fighting for his life.
Det Con Samantha Searle from the Met Police serious collision investigation unit said: "We believe the person who was involved in the collision was driving a white or light coloured VW Golf which left before officers arrived.
"I am appealing for the person who was driving that car to do the right thing and come forward to police.
"I would also ask any witnesses or people with information about the collision to contact us immediately."
