Woman arrested in murder investigation after man found dead in Chelsfield Lane Orpington

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead.
Police were called at around 11.45pm yesterday to a home in Chelsfield Lane, Orpington.
Officers attended along with London Ambulance Service and found the body of a 51-year-old man. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination will be arranged in due course. The man’s family have been informed.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "A woman, aged in her 40s, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of murder.
"The man and woman are believed to have been known to each other. Nobody else is sought at this time in connection with the incident."
The woman has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
The police investigation is led by detectives from the Specialist Crime Directorate.
