Bexley men appear in court charged with manslaughter following death of man hit by bus in West Road, Erith

Two men have appeared in court over the death of a man who was hit by a bus following an altercation.
Police were called to West Road in Erith at about 10.30pm on August 28 last year to reports a man had been knocked down.
Officers and paramedics attended and Amamudin Alikhel, referred to as Ali Khan, was confirmed dead at the scene.
An investigation was launched which found there had been an altercation before the victim was hit by the bus.
Mark Pearce, 40, of Lower Road, Bexley, and Markie Collins, 18, of Galleon Close, Bexley, have since been charged with manslaughter.
The pair appeared at Bromley Magistrates Court last Wednesday (September 16), and were bailed to appear at the Old Bailey on Wednesday, October 16.
