A toilet block in a park has been put out of use after a tree fell on it during a recent storm.
The incident means there are currently no facilities available in Danson Park, Bexleyheath.
Yesterday, a spokesman for Bexley council said: "Unfortunately a tree has fallen on the public toilets located next to the Mansion House and they have been closed temporarily for public safety.
"We are working hard to resolve the issues and will re-open the toilets as soon as possible."
But residents have kicked up a stink over the closure with some pointing out the only other available loos next to the children's play park have been shut "for weeks".
One angry park user said: "The toilets next to the swing park have been closed for weeks! Not seen anyone carrying out ‘maintenance’ on them once.
"Get a grip Bexley council and get them fixed."
Another added: "This is not acceptable nor meets the requirements of the disabled who may need access to toilets frequently.
"Surely you can arrange urgent delivery of temporary toilets particularly as this is the half term period."
Bexley council was contacted for further comment.
