Man, 39, sought in connection with rape on Turpington Lane, Bromley, arrested

Detectives investigating the rape of a woman in Bromley have arrested a suspect.
Earlier police released a picture and description of a 39-year-old man following the attack on March 20.
Officers had been called to reports of a man restraining and assaulting a woman in Turpington Lane, Bromley in the early hours.
The victim, believed to be in her late teens, told officers she had been dragged into the bushes by a stranger and raped.
She was taken to hospital with a head injury and two black eyes.
This evening the Met confirmed they had arrested the man on suspicion of rape and he remains in custody.
