Teenager, 17, dies after motorbike crash in Main Road, Biggin Hill

A teenage boy has died following a motorbike crash.
A police officer came across a bike that had been involved in a collision in Main Road, Biggin Hill just before midnight last night (June 9)
Two teenage boys were given first aid before paramedics arrived.
A 17-year-old was later pronounced dead at the scene. His family have been informed and will be supported by specialist officers.
The second boy was taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as not life-threatening.
He has been arrested in connection with the investigation and taken to a south London police station.
Enquires continue to establish the full circumstances of the collision.
Police are also appealing for witnesses following the crash.

Detectives believe the motorbike may have been in close proximity to a car around the time of the collision, but that car did not stop at the scene.
Enquiries are ongoing to locate that vehicle and its occupants and to establish whether it played any part in the fatal collision.
Main Road remains closed while this work continues.
