Bromley South Station evacuated after attack on rail employee

Police have evacuated a train station after a staff member was attacked.
Bromley South, on Bromley High Street, was closed after an incident at 1.09pm today.
A teenage boy has reportedly been arrested in connection with the incident, which has left a rail employee in hospital.
British Transport Police released a statement, reading: "British Transport Police were called at 1.09pm, to Bromley South station following a report that a member of railway staff had been assaulted.
"Officers are in attendance and a teenage boy has been arrested.
"A member of staff has been taken to a nearby hospital for treatment."
The station was closed for almost four hours, but reopened shortly after 5pm.
A tweet from Southeastern reads: "UPDATE: #BromleySouth is exit only to allow police to safely complete their work at the station following an incident earlier.
"Passengers travelling from Bromley South will need to use local buses to get to an alternative station.
"We expect this to go on until at least 6pm."
