Woman in critical condition after stabbing in Penhill Road, Bexley

A woman is seriously injured and remains in a critical condition after she was stabbed.
Police are investigating the attack which happened at around 4.07pm in Penhill Road, Bexley.
The woman in her 30s was taken to hospital and her family have been informed.
Insp Graham Rickard, from the local policing team in Bexley, said: “We arrived at the scene within three minutes of the initial report and provided first aid to the victim until paramedics arrived.
"Sadly she is very seriously injured and has been taken to hospital in a critical condition.
“At this very early stage we believe the suspect is known to her. Officers remain at the scene and in the area carrying out a number of inquiries.”
Police confirmed that inquiries are ongoing and there have been no arrests so far.
Witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 4506/16Jan.
