A woman who was trapped under a fallen tree has been taken to hospital.
Emergency services were called to Station Approach in Orpington, which was closed in both directions, at around 3.20pm.
London Ambulance Service took the woman to a nearby hospital. Her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
She remains in the hospital where her condition is being assessed and her family has been informed.
The tree is believed to have come down due to Storm Henk which has seen 70pmh winds which have hit the county today.
Two fire engines from Orpington Fire Station and a fire and rescue unit from Bexley Fire Station also attended the scene at 3.20pm and left at 5.10pm.
Officers from the Met Police also were called at 3.14pm and have now left the task of re-opening the road in the hands of Bromley and Bexley council.
