Police appeal after woman sexually assaulted in field off St Martin's Hill, Littlebourne, Canterbury

Police want witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted in a field.
The victim, 49, was attacked on a green off St Martin's Hill in Littlebourne, Canterbury.
It is reported she went to the field with a man, who then pounced on her.
There was said to have been several witnesses in the area and police are appealing for them to come forward.
The incident happened between 2pm and 5pm on Saturday, August 29, but details have only just been released.
No description of the suspect has been given.
Detective Constable Peter Edwards said: "This is a sensitive investigation and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
"It may be the witnesses were unaware of the subsequent crime enquiry and therefore have not come forward."
