Armed police called to disturbance in Sussex Avenue, Canterbury, after weapon spotted

Armed police were scrambled to Canterbury after a weapon was spotted in a disturbance.
The police helicopter was also deployed to the incident in the Sussex Avenue area this afternoon at 3.49pm.
A member of the public reported they believed they had seen a weapon.
Patrols remain in the area making enquiries into the circumstances.
It is not yet known what type of weapon was seen.
