Police arrest a 22-year-old man on suspicion of drink-driving after a crash on the A2 in Harbledown near Canterbury last night

A man has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after four people were injured in an accident on the A2 near Canterbury last night.
It happened just before 3am in the early hours of Sunday morning and police arrested a 22-year-old man from Aylesham.
The road was closed at Harbledown while emergency services attended the accident, before reopening it at 6.20am.
Police spokesman Keith Fairbank said: "At 2:46am on 1 February, Kent Police patrols witnessed a car colliding with roadside furniture on the coastbound A2 near Canterbury.
"The A2 was closed at Harbledown while emergency services dealt with the incident.
"Four people who had been travelling in the car reportedly suffered minor injuries.
"Officers arrested a 22-year-old man from Aylesham on suspicion of drink-driving and he remains in police custody."
