10:31, 06 February 2009
A new Mini for £1. That is what the winner of a prize draw in aid of the £50million Save Canterbury Cathedral Appeal will get.
The car has been donated by Broadoak Mini, a division of Barrett’s of Canterbury. There are also second and third cash prizes of £1,000 and £500.
Draw tickets are just £1 each and are available in books of five. To buy tickets or to sell books on behalf of the appeal, phone 01227 865346 or call in at the appeal office at 27-28 Burgate, Canterbury.
Alternatively send a cheque, payable to Save Canterbury Cathedral, to Freepost, Save Canterbury Cathedral, enclosing a SAE.
The draw will take place on March 31 and entry closes on March 16.
