Fire fighters investigate cause of bedroom blaze in first floor of property in Canterbury

Fire investigators are trying to establish the cause of a bedroom blaze which left two women suffering the effects of smoke inhalation.
Emergency crews were called to reports of a fire on the first floor of a property in Black Griffin Lane, Canterbury at around noon today.
When fire fighters arrived the blaze had died down, but two women required treatment at the scene after breathing in toxic smoke.
Crews ensured the fire was fully out, cutting away and damping down the affected areas.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
