Biker taken to London hospital in serious condition after A257 crash near Wingham

A motorcyclist has been taken to London hospital in a serious condition after a crash.
Emergency services were called to the A257 Canterbury Road at its junction with Cherville Lane near Wingham.
A black BMW X5 was involved in a collision with a green Kawasaki EX650 shortly before 6pm yesterday.
The motorcyclist, a 34-year-old man, was taken to a London hospital where he remains in a serious condition.
Police are appealing for anyone who saw the incident, or who has dashcam footage that could help their enquiries, to contact them.
