Night fire in garage at Tannery development in City Wall Avenue Canterbury on Saturday damages four cars

A blaze tore through a garage in Canterbury’s Tannery development in the early hours of the morning.

Firefighters were called to City Wall Avenue just before 5am following reports cars were on fire.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet, a main jet and a hydrant to extinguish flames.

They do not know how Saturday's fire started.

Four cars were reported damaged in a car park which sits below the flats.
