A 15-year-old boy has been arrested after he was found with a knife in a popular park.
Police officers on patrol in Canterbury's Dane John Gardens yesterday afternoon spoke to the boy, after he allegedly made "abusive" comments towards them.
A police spokesman said: "The boy was in possession of a knife and was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence and possession of a knife."
He has since been bailed, and is due to reappear at the police station later this month.
