Burglary at house under renovation in Westgate Grove, Canterbury

A suspect was due to appear in court today after a break-in at a house under renovation.
Tools valued at more than £1,000 were stolen from the property Westgate Grove, Canterbury at around 11.30pm on May 13.
An investigation was completed by detectives from East Division CID, including the examination of CCTV footage in the area.
Yesterday a man was arrested and taken into custody.
Ronald Day, of no fixed address, was later charged with burglary.
The 56-year-old was remanded in custody to appear before Folkestone Magistrates’ Court.
