Drivers are facing long delays after a broken-down bus prompted gridlock throughout a city’s streets.
The Stagecoach service is causing long tailbacks after blocking traffic towards the St George’s Roundabout in Lower Bridge Street, Canterbury.
There are long delays through Sturry Road, where at about 10am, 10-minute journeys were taking more than 40 minutes.
Traffic heading into the city via the ring road is also crawling, whereby queues are building in St George’s Place, near Waitrose.
The incident is also impacting surrounding roads in the city centre.
