A busy route was blocked after straw bales fell from a tractor’s trailer.
The incident happened on the A28 in Canterbury this morning.
Bales could be seen spilt on the carriageway just before Wincheap Roundabout.
They appear to have been knocked off after the tractor attempted to pass under a railway bridge.
Residents have made light of the situation on social media, with one commenting: “Think I'll bale out of going down Wincheap for a while.
“Pity anyone who hasn't seen this post and drew the short straw with their choice of route into Canterbury.”
