Kent Police in hunt for Canterbury bagsnatcher after he targeted a Whitstable woman

Police are hunting this man after he tried to grab a woman's handbag as she walked through the centre of Canterbury.
The victim, a 20-year-old from Whitstable, was walking towards St Dunstan's Street at 6pm on Friday, May 30.
When she got to the Westgate Towers she felt a tug to her handbag that she was wearing across her body.
She managed to keep hold of her bag and the suspect ran off towards St Peter's Place and the Rheims Way roundabout.
He is described as an afro-Caribbean man, aged between 20 and 25, clean shaven and about 6ft tall.
He was wearing black tracksuit bottoms with white stripes down sides and a grey hoodie with hood up.
