Kent Police release CCTV image after stabbing in Canterbury Lane, Canterbury

Police have released a CCTV image of a man as part of their investigation into a stabbing in a city centre.
The incident happened in Canterbury Lane, Canterbury, at about 3.20am on Sunday, April 21.
A man sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds following an assault.
As part of their ongoing investigation, detectives have released the image of a man they wish to identify as he may be able to assist them.
Two arrests have already been made as part of the investigation.
A spokesman for the force added: “Anyone who recognises the man, or has any information, should call 01843 222289 quoting reference 46/64176/24.
“You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111 or complete their online form.”
The appeal comes after a 23-year-old man from south London was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent in relation to the incident.
He is next due to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on August 23.
A 20-year-old man who was arrested in Margate has been bailed pending further enquiries.
