Crash causes motorway congestion

Traffic jams built up early this morning on the M2 after an accident between junctions 5-6 coastbound.
Police were called at about 10am after a car went out of control and hit the central reservation.
Firefighters attended to cut free the driver but a police spokesman said it was not believed anyone was seriously injured.
The hard shoulder was opened up to ease congestion while the scene was cleared and traffic started runnin again from just before 11am.
