Firefighters have been battling a roof fire at a property in Stone Street in Petham.

Crews were called just after 3pm after the single-storey building caught alight.

They used a high-pressure hose to put out the fire, and were at the scene until 4.30pm cutting away damaged material to make the area safe.

Nobody was injured and the cause is thought to have been accidental.
