A 36-year-old man has been charged with drink driving after a van flipped onto its side in central Canterbury.
Ivelin Stanev, of Craddock Road, Canterbury, was arrested in Union Place at about 5pm after the crash involving a Mercedez Benz Sprinter.
It had also hit a lamppost and railings. No other vehicles were involved and no one was injured.
Police shut the road, causing rush hour tailbacks across the city.
It was reopened at 6.30pm.
Stanev is due to appear before city magistrates on August 5.
