Driver Anthony Shaw admits string of historic armed robberies in Barham, Folkestone, Canterbury, Dover, Margate and Sittingbourne

A crane driver has admitted carrying out a series of armed robberies in Kent 15 years ago.
Anthony Shaw, 43, appeared at Canterbury Crown Court via a video link from prison.
He admitted six robberies dating back to 1998 - including one where the victim was 13.
They happened at small stores in Canterbury, Folkestone, Eythorne, Margate and Sittingbourne during a two-and-a-half week period.
Shaw, from Acton, north London, will be sentenced on June 30 at Canterbury Crown Court.
The knifepoint robberies took place between December 1998 and January 1999 at Derringstone Stores, Derringstone Hill, Barham; Densole Newsagents, Canterbury Road, Folkestone; Tyler Hill Post Office in Hacklington Road, Canterbury; Eythorne Post Office; Male Newsagents, Thanet Road, Margate and Fine Food Store, Tonge Road, Sittingbourne.
He was arrested and question regarding a domestic incident which was later dropped - but his fingerprints were taken.
Later officers raided a house in Burlington Gardens, Margate, and questioned him about the raids between December 1998 and January the following year.
