Eight people - including some boys - some have been arrested following a night of muggings in Canterbury.
Three separate crimes were reported around the Forty Acres Road area of the city on Saturday.
A delivery driver was injured during an assault in Nursery Walk at about 8.20pm when the food he was carrying was stolen.
Earlier that evening, just after 7pm, another man was injured in the Pine Tree Avenue area as his bag, phone and cash were pinched.
The robbery came about 15 minutes after two other victims were demanded to empty their pockets near to the junction with St Dunstans Street.
The attempted robbery, carried about by two men, was unsuccessful as the victims made off and nothing was stolen.
Investigating officers are treating the three incidents as linked, and have arrested eight people.
Aged between 16 and 25, the men and boys are from Canterbury, Whitstable and London. They have all been bailed to dates in early March.
The force is now appealing to anyone who saw anything, or who has any information, to come forward.
To do so, call 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/20122/21.
