Face of man who assaulted waitress in underpass

AN E-FIT of a man wanted in connection with an assault on a young waitress has been released by Kent Police.
The incident occurred in the St George’s Place underpass in Canterbury city centre.
The 19-year-old waitress was on her way to work just after 6am on Wednesday, December 6, when she was approached by a man who grabbed her and tried to kiss her.
She managed to get away and ran off towards a Netto store where a delivery driver called the police. She was not injured but her jacket was ripped.
