Wingham crash: Fire crews rescue man

An elderly man was rescued from an overturned car last night after an accident in Wingham.
Three fire engines were called to Durlock Road at around 7.10pm on Friday where a man was trapped inside his vehicle.
The car was on its roof as firemen, police and paramedics arrived.
Fire crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to open the driver's door, before the man was transferred to ambulance crews.
An elderly man was taken to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford but he is not thought to be in a serious condition.
